A former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has lost his younger sister, Madam Adunni Eweje-Obasanjo. According to a statement on Sunday in Abeokuta, she died at the age of 76 last Tuesday at a private hospital in Ota, Ogun State, after a brief illness. Obasanjo broke the sad news when he hosted women leaders from the South-West at his residence in Abeokuta on Sunday. The women were led by the Iyalode of Yorubaland, Chief Alaba Lawson. The women leaders later prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed, asking God to give the Obasanjo family the fortitude to bear the loss. Some members of the Christ Chapel of the Glorious King, the church where Obasanjo worships, also visited the former President to commiserate with him.
