As fuel scarcity bites harder, the nation is heading towards an economic meltdown. Telecommunication companies have already given notice that their services will be affected, hospitals with patients on life support are scampering helter skelter for fuel, airlines have been cancelling because of Jet A1 fuel.

Now, the custodians of our money have followed suit. Deposit money banks are now giving notice of scaled down operations as the likes of First Bank, GTB and a few others have already given notice that beginning today, Monday May 25, their operations will be shutting down by 1pm.

This is to be able to manage their depleting stock of petroleum products. Should this continue, it will have a damaging effect on Nigerians in most sectors of the economy including travel in this inauguration week.

Many people residing in Lagos and the Federal capital have series of events lined up in their various home capitals ahead of the inauguration on Friday.

The fuel situation will affect these cadre of people mostly as they will not be freely able to shuttle between their bases and inauguration cities to be part of the activities.

Also several people in the present dispensation winding down on May 29 have also planned to leave the country for vacation to places like Ghana, UK, America will be stuck should this situation persist as even international flights, will soon get grounded as they depend on aviation fuel at their destinations to return.

Servers of banks will soon go down, meaning ATM's will stop working, POS terminals will go on the blink and no one wiĺl even be able to access their monies or pay for goods and services.

The Clueless One is leaving no stone unturned to distabilise the country before he leaves. God is on the side of Nigerians. He will surely fail.
