A car theft suspect identified as Alhaji Ramon Adeleke has been arrested by Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.

Adeleke, a native of Ede, Osun State is believed to be related to hip hop sensation, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido.

Both belong to the popular Adeleke clan in Ede that has produced former Osun State Governor and returning Senator, Isiaka Adeleke also known as Serubawon.

The 55 year old father of four was caught alongside his friend, Lukmon Shoyoye on closed-circuit television, CCTV, footage stealing a Toyota Corolla parked in a hotel located around Allen Avenue.

Justifying his crime, Adeleke disclosed that the N400,000 money realized from the theft was used to help his ailing friend. “I gave the money to my friend, Chief Kola, who had kidney problem because he was very sick,” he confessed.
