Twenty years ago I lost my dad . the first ten years were noting but full of horror ,agony , neglects , shattered dream, failed and broken promises ,shame and loneliness .
People won't understand .
The pains of moving from a comfortable three bedroom flats to a room and palour in a face me I face you house where properties were dismantled to fit into the new abode.
The agony of changing school from private to public .
The trauma of Always one of the last to pay school fees.
The shame of putting on oversized daddy's cloth on Christmas day with the best slippers at home .
Nights of hunger .
Rejection ,days of treaking all over the places in search of food.
Days of being at the mercy of neighbors for survival .
In all , I have learnt that God is every family breadwinner not any man .
I have learnt to always put my trust only in God not any man .
I have learnt that in life , no matter good you do ,when you die people will not remember but your children will reap it somewhere else in one way or the other .
All thanks to God and our indefatigable mother who sacrificed all the luxuries of the world for our education .
We are not their yet but we can see hope . it wasn't has hospless like 20-15 years ago when all human promises were seen broken in our own very eyes . when some people thought we could only be hooligans and society nuisance.
This is a period to say thank you Lord.
