Hello people, i came across this article and i felt i should share. The original article is culled from http://unlimitedrevs.com/10-cars-you-should-never-own/11/ 10. Bugatti Veyron Considering that its one of the fastest cars ever made, it is of course fun to drive. However have you seen the maintenance costs? Even considering the cost to buy the car, the maintenance is crazy. Oil Change: $21,000.00 Tires: $30-40,000.00 (recommendedreplace evry 2500 miles) Annual maintenance: $20,000.00 insurance: $2-3,000.00 per month Even though you can afford the car can you afford the maintenance. Is it really worth it?

9: Mercedes Benz 600 Grosser When people talk about how comfortable a Mercedes can be, this is the car they are referring to. The car is an icon of what Mercedes is and was. However, they are not without their issues. For example, the hydraulic window switches are $11,500.00 to replace when they break. Additionally, just about everything in the car is hydraulic, and equally expensive. 1 Like 1 Share

8: Jaguar E-type This list could be entirely comprised of British cars, but the E-type is by far the worst offender. It was fast in its day, and still is, but only when its working. 90% of the time you own it, it will not be working. Even still, every time you see one, you want one. 3 Likes 1 Share

7: Alpha Romeo Montreal Alpha Romeos are some of the most beautiful cars to look at, and are fun to drive. At least when they are working anyway.. Unfortunately, they are horribly unreliable, so you will spend more time waiting for the car to get fixed, than you will driving and enjoying it. At least they look nice even when broken. 1 Like

6: Ariel Atom Take everything great about the Lotus and multiply by 10. Now do the same with everything bad about it and you have the Ariel Atom. Do yourself a favor and only drive it on tracks, that you trailer the atom to. 1 Like

5: Lotus Elise Everything that makes the Elise great, like the compact lightweight size, and no power steering, make it utterly awful to drive any way but fast. At least the Toyota motor is reliable!

4: Rental Car Did someone say average Joe Gymkhana take one? They are absolutely awesome to drive, what least when you dont have to pay for the tires you inevitably destroy hooning them. Dont ever buy a former rental.

3: Citroen SM The SM is one of the most luxurious and comfortable cars ever made. Its also one of the most complicated with hydropneumatic suspension and Maserati motor.

2: McLaren MP4-12C These cars are amazing to drive, but because they were the first road car since the F1. There were a lot of teething issues like failing electronics. On top of that, many options weren't delivered for up to a year after the release of the car. The cars depreciated massively, particularly when McLaren recognized all the problems and released the 650s to replace the 12c with all the problems fixed. 2 Likes

1: Mercedes Benz CL65 AMG 600HP and 738 Ft/lbs of torque mean that this massive luxury coupe is massively fun to drive. As a GT car its fantastic until the warranty expires. They seem like great deals on the Used market as they depreciate like crazy. If that doesn't kill it for you the maintenance will. Anything on a V12 Mercedes is crazy expensive to replace.

The Mc laren is a great car, its even partially made of gold at the back fender close to the exhaust to help with the massive heat the exhaust produces. The worst aspect of it is the engine is so loud that driver and passenger can only communicate comfortable with head phones in the cabin. As for the bugatti veyron soup wey sweet nah bankruptcy it will lead to. 1 Like |
