The Oyo State Police Command, has arrested one Mr. Tajudeen Awoniyi for allegedly defiling his two daughters and nieces in Ibadan.

Awoniyi, a herbalist, allegedly committed the act on Friday night at Moniya area of Ibadan.

The 60-year-old’s daughters had brought home their nieces to sleep in the house because their mother travelled to Lagos.

Awoniyi’s two daughters – Barakat Awoniyi (15) and Sefiat Awoniyi (13) alleged that their father slept with them three times each anytime he is drunk.

The nieces – Nahinmat Olayiwola (14) and Kehinde Rilway (15) claimed that Awoniyi gave them a black soap to bath around 1am and had carnal knowledge of them over the night.

Speaking on Monday, the Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Katsina, confirmed the incident.

He added that doctors’ report showed penetration ‎and STD infection on the girls.

“This is a warning to others who are in such act to desist or they will face the wrath of the law.

“Criminals have three options in the state. One- they should abandon their criminal ways and embrace decency. Two- they should relocate from Oyo State or they should be ready for arrest and prosecution
