1. Cruise Ship/Vessels/Military Carriers.

A floating object made of metal that weighs about 250,000 tonnes or more on the ocean without sinking. Having thousands of rooms, toilets, bathrooms, the plumbing works, water supply in all the rooms, the kitchens, cooking for thousands of people about 3× daily for a week or more, 24hrs electricity supply to all the rooms, elevators, shopping malls, churches, mosques, health service, each room, every corner having loudspeakers for announcements or emergency, the wiring. Infact....

Yeah. . .asides those, you talk of space technologies and energy too. When it comes to Science/Engineering/Technology, I'm a sucker for them. . .

That world's largest container vessel, correct me if I am wrong but it built in Denmark, owned by I think Maersk? For the SR-71, I read sometime back that there are plans to make another SR-72, then you talk of scramjets (jet engines designed to take one to any part of the world in approx. 2 hours though not yet commercial). An excerpt:
On August 16, 2002, the University of Queensland in Australia completed the first successful flight of a scramjet vehicle, reaching speeds of Mach 7, or seven times the speed of sound.

This route was last crossed by humans 20,000 years ago during the ice age, when ice formed a bridge between North America and Asia. Today, 47 miles and some of the harshest Ocean and arctic conditions separate the two continents.
