In Lagos (Nigeria) today, most professionals spends an average commute time of 6 hours every day - to and fro work. In 5 days, they would have spent an average of 30 hours on the road (1 day and 6 hours equivalent) and 120 hours on the road in a month (which is equivalent to 5 days on the road). If you take that away from the 8 days they are supposed to have to themselves in a month (4 Saturdays and Sundays), an average professional only has 3 full day of rest (assuming that they do not go out on weekends). This has shown that the amount of stress a working professional in Lagos faces is directly proportional to the amount of time they have on their hands and in cases like this, they do not have time on their hands and are fully stressed out.

The effect of this can be seen in the growing incidence of road rage, hypertension, accidents, e.t.c. Platforms like www.gidimall.com are making lives more convenient for professionals. Professionals can now shop conveniently and have their purchased items delivered to their door steps. This saves them time (which they already do not have enough) they would have used in visiting the nearby super market to shop for their favorite items.

In creating more value for consumers, www.gidimall.com also has a “buy now pay later” scheme for staff of certain banks that do not have the immediate cash to purchase certain products and can buy them and pay in installment. www.gidimall.com pioneered this service in Nigeria and is currently working with a couple of Banks to expand this service. If you work in a Bank and will want to partner with us on this service, kindly send us a mail at customercare@gidimall.com.

Gidimall also offers sellers the opportunity to list their products for sale and pay a commission only when a sale is made. This has been seen to be a very callable model for most SME’s for their business. If you are reading this article and have something to sell, kindly send a mail to customercare@gidimall.com and we will immediately engage you.

Finally, at the heart of our business is service. We have a 24 hours delivery covenant backed by excellent service with our customers and we strive to keep to it. Join the many happy customers by logging on to www.gidimall.com today.
