Alert ! BBC Journalist Caught Rehearsing Queen Elizabeth Obituary- Stay Tune by businessline: 8:18am On Jun 05, 2015
The BBC journalist who announced to the world that the Queen was dead, ‘just made a mistake’, her family has claimed. Ahmen Khawaja published a ‘breaking news’ alert about the Queen yesterday morning, whilst the BBC was rehearsing what it would do when a senior member of the royal

family dies. Her announcement – first that the Queen had been hospitalized, then that she had died – sparked a global media frenzy as broadcasters and newspapers around the world followed the story.
The Queen was, in fact, still very much alive and in good health. She was pictured all smiles this morning as she met members of the Women’s Institute and cut their Centenary Celebration Cake.

The incident has strained the BBC’s relationship with Buckingham Palace and put a chink in the BBC’s global reputation.

But today, a man claiming to be her brother insisted that Miss Khawaja ‘just made a mistake’.

He made the comments at their family’s luxury apartment in Knightsbridge, a short walk from Harrods and overlooking Hyde Park.

The man also told the Evening Standard that Miss Khawaja wants to remain in the job she loves, despite facing disciplinary action over the error, and her apparent attempt to brush it off as a ‘prank’.

Miss Khawaja, 31, works at the BBC’s London headquarters, but was not involved in rehearsal for the royal obituary, or even supposed to be in the room.

BBC sources believe she got wind of the run-through and took it seriously. However, that does not tally with her own version of events.

The BBC Urdu producer tried to explain the tweets away as a joke by someone who had accessed her Twitter account on her mobile.

An investigation is ongoing, and Miss Khawaja is likely to face a disciplinary panel. She could lose her job at BBC Urdu, where she is the producer of a current affairs programme – a job which relies on good news judgement.

Today, BBC news staff questioned how one of the organisation’s producers could have made such a mistake in the first place.

‘It would have been fairly obvious [that it was rehearsal], or it should have been fairly obvious, at least,’ a source said.

According to an email sent by Jonathan Munro, head of newsgathering, the BBC had drawn down the blinds on the newsroom whilst it went through the rehearsal, and cancelled all BBC tours.

However, a tweet from Miss Khawaja’s account said: ‘BREAKING: Queen Elizabeth is being treated at King Edward 7th Hospital in London. Statement due shortly: @BBCWorld.’

Moments later, another tweet said: ‘“Queen Elizabrth [sic] has died”: @BBCWorld.’

By sheer coincidence, the Queen was in hospital at the time having a routine check-up, but Buckingham Palace confirmed that she is in good health.

Miss Khawaja quickly deleted the offensive tweet, but it had already sparked headlines around the world.

American television network CNN, India’s Hindustan Times, and Bild, the respected German newspaper, all picked up the story, and were forced to backtrack when they realised the tweet had been sent by mistake.

But why is the death of the Queen needing to be rehearsed. Is death imminent and knocking at her door?Is she suffering from an incurable illness?
all this are questions knowledgeable people need to ask the BBC officials or is there more truth in the woman story than they are making the world to believe
