tpiadotcom:something to inspire yourself and the entire african race. The history of the world has been a history of racial struggle not just class, where the white see their colour as superior to blacks and other race. Even with the international community bringing up laws to tackle racial discrimination, the old wounds still hurts in the hearts of many. So we, in our everyday interaction, tend to encourage ourselves that our colour is how strength. 1 Like 1 Share |

Proud of the colour love and cherish it, but the idea of a dichotomy between the Blacks and Whites is an injustice as progress in this world has seen both of them collaborate. The problem with racism is caused by the weak growth of Africa economy. |

Being black is the rule. NOT the exception. We've always been here, the constant in the life equation. @ Akposb I think the opposite of this statement is the truth.; The problem with racism is caused by the weak growth of Africa economy. 1 Like |

charlesucheh: this is the mistake a lot of people make. Not all africans are blacks! Northern Africans especially are arabs and not blacks. |

netizenbuzz:Racially, they all aren't. You know why? Cos there's still discrimination between them(Arabs) and the rest of europe, asia, carribeans etc. Focus on the subject "BLACK" and it's symbolism. Pls!!!! can you do that?. |
Re: What Is Your View On Being Black? by Nobody: 11:09am On Jun 09, 2015 |
charlesucheh: Such confidence in ignorance. Learn to take correction when you know you are wrong. Blacks are not the only race being discriminated against. Jews are discriminated for their religion and nose. East Asians are discriminated for their eyes. Blacks are the ones discriminated for their skin colour. Northern Africans were never slaves so the rascism they face is not because they are black okay?! Get your facts right and don't confuse people here on nairaland. |

To me, I'm human first, and a black African. I am not weigh down by my colour, when you are discriminated against both the culprit and the victim are entangled in unhealthy mental duel, carrying their complexes and justifications and its 'associate pain/pride' about. Men I need the same skull for intellectual quest. Being black is an opportunity for me to stand out as 'first black man to...' Op pls make do with your life, this stu.pid war is one without end, you have it as 'sibling rivalry' in families, and as 'racism' out there in the world. Avoid it lest it claims you and encroach on your profile. The black is black, the white is white, I believe in the brotherhood of man. |
