You people must learn not to believe everything you are told on face value, believe me something has happened behind the scene that you are not being told the result is what u are seeing. 1 Like |

This is elementary international relations! what have we been gaining from the US/UK especially to warrant the friendliness between PMB and them? China naturally got mad at this. PMB should really have visited them since• Who ignores his biggest customers for uncaring customers for God sake? 1 Like |

Just as predicted from the era of the shale oil and Gas Revolution. More is yet to come as Nigeria would be left out of the market if care is not taken. The NLNG has also been affected as they are now recording huge losses in sales. My candid advise is for Nigeria to domestize its resouses rather than only selling them. Professors around the south-south region especially the University of Port Harourt are thinking towards the installation of modular refineries at strategic positions of the country. But I would want more industries to awaken like the petrochemical industries, power plants , steel industries. these industries needs power of which can be gotten from our crude. jobs will be created and there will be a higher circulation of money within the boundares of the local communites. pls if the Buhari's administration can start working towards this angle. Nigeria would not only survive but will turn out to be a more successful in another dimension of exportation once again. 6 Likes |

Continue to wine and dine with the demons, by the time you will realize what you have done to yourself and country it would be too late. Did you know what the G7 discussed at your back? Better find out. What they said with their mouth is different from what the have in their mind. |

Why are we even looking for buyers for the oil while we keep importing finished products? If we can refine our oil to satisfy the energy demand of this country, we would have solved loads of problems. Let Shell, Chevron, Mobil, Agip find buyers, we are in this together. 3 Likes |

The niger delta has suffered from years of neglect and greed from our leaders both at the federal, state, local and even community level. It is sad to note that the refineries that ought to be up and running have been deliberately crippled due to selfish interest of a few in this Country. The question then is this so called agitation by the ND youths for resource control not a baseless and fruitless wish?. If you are giving control of the oil what can you do with it. Our leaders and people that claim that they are fighting for our interest are only for their pockets and we still agitate?. People like tom polo, Asari dokubo etc from the ND only have ijaw agenda and not ND as a whole. And even the ijaws are still a selected few. Let us as country begin to look inward now that is clear that what we are looking for in Europe is in abundance here. Like someone suggested we should start exporting petroleum to african countries and this can be achieved if the refineries are revived and new ones built. And subsequently focus on other areas of wealth generation. PMB has a lot on his plate I think he ought to start working immediately ... 1 Like |

How about we build refineries all over West Africa and corner the market for FINISHED PRODUCTS. Is it a given that we must sell crude? Why can't we refine and sell finished products which will no doubt have a constant market?? Abeg this one is not a death sentence joor. 1 Like |

China is very smart. They smelt trouble 5 cuntries afar when they found out our relationship with US is getting better. I gues that's why they dumped our products. US is just a nightmare for Nigeria...declined demand of our product as well cause it's discovering crude at its backyard. Its about time Nigeria renovate its own refinies and produce more products for its citizens. |
