my Toyota Camry 99 does not move quickly when I step on the accelerator and it doesn't climb hills as fast as before pls do I have a gear problem?? |

Sounds like a weak fuel pump. But run a diagnosis on your power train and also carry out a fuel pump pressure test. Can't rule out the issue of a gearbox too. But a scan would narrow it down |

I took it to a Mech he said I shd change the engine oil and gear oil he also washed some stuff with petrol,the movement improved it now climbs speed bumps but still finding it hard to climb a bump on an entrance to a friends compound, shd I be worried as I am now cos he said I might need to change gear box for 70k |

Do a thorough scan on your power train and check the pump pressure as Suggested by @mayor2013 you will easy know what and what as gone wrong. That make you get exact challenge of you car Dhemmyhardy 23/6/2014 |
