Chelsea are reportedly preparing to get their transfer window back on track by launching a £46.2million all-in bid for Atletico Madrid winger Antoine Griezmann.

The Blues’ summer business has been underwhelming so far, with the out-of-sorts Radamel Falcao brought in to replace Didier Drogba, while Petr Cech is set to join to rivals Arsenal.

But according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea are looking to make Griezmann their marquee signing of the summer, and want to add Mohamed Salah to their previous bid of £35.5m to clinch a deal worth around £46.2m in total.

Mourinho is claimed to be extremely serious about bringing Griezmann to Stamford Bridge, while Salah will hold talks with Fiorentina over his future.
