Actually it's one issue.
She was probably raised to belive sex is evil and should only be engaged in for procreation/to have children.

Your uncle saw all this but still went ahead to marry her. Why?

Unlearning a disliking for sex can take a long time and requires patience. I would have said see a sex therapist but I don't think there are many professional ones in Nigeria.

Solution :
Talk to her pastor about it let him talk to her. Make sure he doesn't have the same thoughts towards sex like she does before you do this though.

Make the best of the few times you have sex with her. Make it about her and not about you. Don't rush in and rush out. Make it a most pleasurable experience for her. This way she'll look forward to it more.

Increase your sexual knowledge. Do not watch porn. Those are actors and most of thier pleasure is false. Read Mature books on sex e.g "The joys of sex", How to improve your man(woman) in bed", Vistra's "the kama sutra", Anne hopper books etc.
If possible "accidentally" leave these books lying around for your wife to see. Hopefully she might fall to temptation and read them without your knowledge.

Keep yourself clean. Hygiene is very important.

Above all be patient with her. I know you have been patient for a long time bit since you are just starting this process anew then start your patience anew too.

Op, was she abused sexually prior the time she 'settled' down? If no, it's either she's extremely religious and she seeks something from God or she doesn't want it from the husband. However, I suggest her husband bears his mind to her rather than take a rash decision which would wreck their marriage.

I know someone who gets twice in 2 years and the twice came only when the woman decided she wants to try for another child. The sex was once in a month usually on the day of ovulation and she got pregnant on the second attempt. His wife is a career woman and they are based in Lagos. First of all he should confirm whether his wife is a closet Lesbian by watching carefully her relationship with other women. Most women this days enjoy only puccy, a carry over from secondary school days.
Secondly, he should check himself. Does her know how to perform well, maybe the wife does not love his love making.
Lastly he should be open and honest with her and say his mind. She needs to know that he is not feeling this style at all.

Your wife could have some form of phobia for sex. She could have been raped before. If you can seek counselling you will be able to figure out whats wrong. once in 2months just isnt normal
