IN line with its regulatory function, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has sealed a warehouse in Lagos belonging to a Lebanese firm, H and H Integrated Nigeria Limited, for illegal importation, distribution and sale of unregistered products as well as non adherence to hygienic practices.

The warehouse, located at the Eric Moore, area of city was sealed, following a tip-off, which revealed that the company was involved in the importation and storage of illegal food products, particularly biscuits and cookies commonly consumed by children.

The NAFDAC’s action is coming after a month of a similar closure of the premises of Lagos–based confectionaries and multinational food outlet, Chocolate Royale, over what was described as “unethical practices” and non-adherent to good manufacturing and hygienic practices

These Lebanese guys are stepping beyond their boundaries, they dont care about human lives and i think there is a better way our Govt should adopt to deal with them so as any organisation caught selling expired or fake product, their company should be auctioned right before their eyes and their accounts freezed and be made to pay all their customers that have any proof of patronizing them at least 10 million naira each and the culprits should face nothing less than 30 years in a Nigerian prison.

this will teach others a lesson

while this is a good move from NAFDAC, i hope more Job opportunity and Business ideas are gonna come in ASAP. I believe that if there are enough jobs in the country, especially indigenous Businesses, Foreigners won't come into the country to manipulate products.

God help PMB achieve this
