Getting around in Lagos can be really tough, especially in the evenings when traffic is at its peak and during periods of fuel scarcity. With Jekalo.com, moving around the bustling city has been made easy.
Jekalo is an online car-sharing platform that allows you to share a ride with someone going along the same route as you.

Becoming a Jekalo user takes just a few minutes. You sign-up and connect using your Facebook or LinkedIn profiles. Facebook for social and LinkedIn for professional. After registering on the network, you can either choose to offer a ride or join any of the rides already listed on the sidebar of the website.
In offering a ride, Jekalo ensures safety by verifying and screening the user and the ride before the ride is published as an ‘Available Ride’.

According to Jekalo, “As a ride owner, you must earn points that can be used to redeem cash, fuel vouchers, airtime, mobile data and more”. It was also revealed that Jekalo is affordable, as the amount you pay on Jekalo is about the same price as using a commercial bus and cheaper than a taxi.
