It was a case of New York, New York last night as the city's soccer derby took place. Bradley Wright-Phillips scored for New York Red Bulls as they beat New York City FC 3-1 in Major League Soccer. New York City, the franchise team of English side Manchester City where Wright-Phillips started his career, took the lead through Thomas McNamara. Wright-Phillips equalised for the visitors just after the break before Chris Duvall put them in front and Matt Miazga secured the win. |
