Tunisian hotel staff formed human shield in heroic move to save tourists. The Muslim staff members told the terrorist: 'You must kill us first' The gunman, who openly declared he was targeting Western tourists during the killing spree, was also told: 'You will have to get past us, but we're Muslim.

Many have spoken of playing dead in a bid to avoid being 'finished off' by the gunman as he indiscriminately shot down dozens of tourists. Angela Evans told how she played dead as he was 'inches' away from her. He was so close she heard him reloading as she lay motionless in the sand Cheryl Mellor, from Cornwall, also played dead after her husband was shot.
SHOOTER
ISIS posted a photo of the alleged attacker, whom Tunisian authorities identified as 24-year-old Saif Al-Deen Al Rezgui from the town of Gaafour, about 100 miles northeast of Sousse.
Rezgui had earlier landed on the shore on a boat dressed as a tourist, before pulling out an assault rifle hidden in a parasol.
He then stormed the beach, gunning down tourists and throwing hand grenades into the crowds. In all, 38 people were killed, with the atrocity claiming the lives of 15 Britons - although that figure may yet rise.
Al Rezui was not known to have problems in Gaafour and was seen as an introvert who came from a poor family, police said. They added that his younger brother died in 2010 when struck by lightning, a death they believe may have affected Al Rezgui.
Initial reports Friday about the attack suggested there had been three gunmen, but a Tunisian Interior Ministry spokesman later said they were aware of only one and that he had been killed.
