Fetty Wap has been blowing up thanks to his hit " Trap Queen " and now he wants to clear up speculation of how he lost his left eye. TMZ caught up with the New Jersey rapper outside of Rockefeller Center after his debut late night performance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. While many rumors have circulated that he was involved in a firecracker accident or was shot in his face with a shotgun, the real answer isn't as scandalous. Wap revealed that he lost his eye to glaucoma, a condition he was born with, at six months old and that at age 12 he had reconstructive surgery. However, he no longer wears the prosthesis because he "didn't want to look everybody else."
