The boxing superstar is finalizing his purchase of the extremely rare Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita, a sports car that goes from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds and can hit speeds up to 250 mph. The super car is one of only three in the world and comes with a hefty price tag of nearly $5 million.

Mayweather decided to purchase the car this week during a visit to Los Angeles. It will certainly make a spectacular addition to his already enormous car collection.

Mayweather, 38, recently topped Forbes' list of the highest-paid athletes with $300 million in earnings. It's the second year in a row the undefeated boxer has been at the top spot.
