This is to inform students the Institute Of Education Nasarawa State University (NSUK)that the registration for 2015 Contact Session has begun.

INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION 2015 CONTACT SESSION REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Returning Students:

Registration Period: 6thJuly, 2015 – 17th July, 2015

Late Registration (Additional Fees of N5,000.00k): July 18th – July 31st, 2015.

Please note that the Portal will be closed by mid night July 31st, 2015 and students will only be able to check registered courses. Any add and drop of courses must be done within this registration period. Failure to register within this registration period will amount to forfeiting the Academic Session.

All spill-over students should also make sure they register within this period as no further registration will be allowed after this period.

Steps for Registration:

Paying School Fees – Student on arrival should visit; www.nsuk.edu.ng under Current Students tab,on Pay School Fees, select Sandwich School Fees or visit the direct link: http://nsuk.edu.ng/sandwich-fees/ Wait for the page to load and Enter your Matriculation Number, and click on Get Fee Details. The fees due for your Student category will be displayed. Download and Print a copy of the Payment Invoice and take it to any branch of the designated bank below:

Note: Please, confirm your details including the amount you are to pay before proceeding to any branch of the under listed bank.

UBA, Diamond Bank, Ecobank PLC, First Bank, Unity Bank, Mainstreet Bank, Keystone Bank, FCMB, Zenith Bank.

Note: You will be required to pay additional fees of Portal Access and Internet Charges = 2,000 Transaction Charges = 300.

Upon successful payment at the bank, you will be given a payment slip which contains a confirmation number. Return to the portal with this and follow the procedure above. Select the e-tranzact Pin Vending option and click on pay fees. This will take you to a page, enter the confirmation number and click on verify. After your payment has been verified, you will be required to print your school fees receipt and also a PIN will be automatically generated for you with which you will be required to use in Step 2 below.

Profile Update and Course Form Registration
Still on www.nsuk.edu.ng, select Institute of Education Portalor use this link: http://nsuk.edu.ng/institute-of-education-portal-login/, use the combination of your Matriculation Number and the PIN obtained after your payment has been successfully verified and school fees receipt printed. Login and update your profile, also register all your required courses as the case may be.

Note: Please, make sure you keep your receipt.

New Students (Freshers)

Steps for Screening
If you received a text message notifying you of your admission, on the school website (www.nsuk.edu.ng), go to ‘Prospective Students’ and click on ‘Returning Applicants Login’, select Institute of Education, Enter the email address and password you used to apply for admission and login to your profile.

Click the “Accept Admission” button to accept the Admission (at this point you will download a detailed registration procedure) and also a payment invoice for 3,000 (Three Thousand Naira) Acceptance Fee.

Proceed to any branch of the designated banks, please note that at the bank you must make your payment through eTranzact pin vending only. In addition to your acceptance fee, you must also pay online transaction charge of N300 only.

Designated banks

UBA, Diamond Bank, Ecobank PLC, First Bank, Unity Bank, Mainstreet Bank, Keystone Bank, FCMB, Zenith Bank.

After you made payment from bank, follow the earlier stated steps, Click “Select Payment Option”. On the next screen, choose “Live URL eTRANZACT PIN” option and click “Select and Pay Fee”.Enter the Confirmation Number on the payment slip you received from the bank into the space provided and “Click to Verify”.

If your payment is successful, you will be able to download your Provisional Admission Letter, Screening Form, as well as your Acceptance Fee Receipt. (Note your Applicant ID on the receipt)

Proceed to the Secretary, Institute of Education with the following alongside your Admission Letter and Screening Form: (a) Original Copies of all credentials and Indigene Certificate for verification of certificate (b) Scratch Card of your claimed o’level result. If you succeed at this point, proceed to the Head of Unit, then the Director, Institute of Education for final endorsement.
Note:
a. Make sure you are properly screened at the Academic Office before

proceeding to the Department, and Faculty for Final Clearance, and Paying of School Fees which is effective after 24hrs of final clearance.

If you need to change course, this must be done with the first 2 weeks of resumption and payment must not be made until final endorsement. Any change of course after school fees payment will attract another complete school fees without the option of a refund.
Paying of Fees

Go to the school website, click on Prospective Students, select New Student Pay Fees, enter your Applicant ID in the space provided and click “Get Fee Detail” to generate your Fee Payment Invoice. Additional Charges of 2,000 (Portal Access Fee) and 300(Transaction Charge) will be required at the bank.
Go to any of the following banks listed above to pay your fees

Note: If you are changing course, proceed to IT centre to get the appropriate invoice for payment through etranzact platform. Do not pay school fees until you have completed the change of course process. The University will not refund any case of wrong payment of fees, also, payments made cannot be reversed.

Come back to school website, repeat step (i)above, but instead of downloading Payment Invoice, click on “Select Payment Option” select Live URL ETRANZACT PIN option, enter the Confirmation Number on the slip you got from the bank and click “Select and Pay Fee“.

On successful verification, download and print out your receipt which also comes with your portal login PIN. Detach the PIN from the receipt, on Current Students Tab on the University website,select Institute of Education Portal or use this link: http://nsuk.edu.ng/institute-of-education-portal-login/, use the combination of your Applicant IDand the PIN.

Course Registration:
Complete your profile, register your courses for the semester, download your course registration form (CRF), Download your Student Information Form (SIF). Take copies of the form along with your school fees payment receipt to your department to complete for registration.
