Joined ican from a non accounting backgroud, wrote 5 papers in foundation, passed 2. It was a nice experience, no letting go of my zeal, cos ACA is my shortcut to whr I want to be in life. Nov diet! Let's go there! 1 Like |

Dereformer:I wonder why people deceive themselves writing 6 papers irrespective of their tight schedule... Imagine people writing the 5 papers in Professional Level in addition to meeting tight deadlines while at work. I'm glad I wrote only 3 in Professional Level and cleared all 3 even if the scores were marginal (50 - 56) despite the fact that I was expecting nothing less than 70. Anyways, it's 3 down... SFM to go! |

My result is a testimony, 5 days to the exams my exemption came out n I was granted exemptions on QTB and BF meanwhile I was of the impression that the exemption were on FA and BLAW and was preparing to write MI, QTB and BF. Until 5days to the exams. I hurriedly studied FA and BLAW and the good news is that I passed all three papers. 8 Likes 1 Share |

searider:WySE is actually the best bet for me... It's been tested and trusted! Although personal jacking with the Study packs help a lot. At least I used that method for Foundation and Intermediate in 2012 and cleared in one sitting. |

Intrepid01:My dear, I wrote all 4 papers in PE1, November 2013 diet, thought I'd pass and possibly even win a prize in Management Accounting but failed all 4 scoring between 40-49. I used vexation to write them all again in May 2014 thinking I'd score at least 70 but passed marginally (scoring between 50-52). One thing I believe is: if one hopes to score between 50-60 after an exam, it's most likely going to be a failure. |

Ican follows a systematic process...why most guys fail is because they don't follow instruction. Some guys when writing, they go and write gibberish just to make their paper full and to give themselves the conviction that they wrote it perfectly. Hence, when the result comes out, Failure. My lil advice is that Ican is a professional exam and before you delve your resources into it, make up your mind to study at least 3hrs a day which you could start from now for November diet. Lymosh: Get a good lecture center....... Make friends with people that are determined to pass in your lecture center...... I try to look at my book every day, no matter how tired I am, even if is one page..... Aim for that ICAN prize, because if you aim for the pass mark, you might see your self scoring below the pass mark...... Most importantly, commit everything to God's hands....... Intrepid01: Bro, forget about that the guy is a first class. ICAN exam is tougher than any of the undergraduate exams in Nigeria. You only have maximum of 6 months to prepare for the exams and each study packs of ICAN for skill level has at least 650 pagess. I hardly finish studying 400 pages of a book in month not to mention of the whole 650 pages without any additional materials. The guy brought that upon himself, advise him next time to write maximum of 4 papers in a diet. And don't let his ability to make first class in engineering deceive him. |
