All that glitter are not gold. It's not always all about working in oil firm to earn big pay, the risk consideration should also be checked. Anyway, something must kill a man...that is basic.

Btw, what is happening to agip these days? Around ending of last month or perhaps just very few days into this month, Vanguard news reported of agip oil offshore facility on fire and now, this again. What is going on? Are they compromising safety procedures?

May there soul rest in perfect peace. It really pains wen u lost someone so close to u.

Out of d 12 persons , one of them ( Theophilus Duabo) from ministry of environment bayelsa state; Osita from NOSDRA and others are Agip contract staffs.

They went for a JIV (joint investigation visit) wen one of agip pipelines was tempered by a third party. Agip in there usual method refused to shut down before commencement of repair work and so while welding the spot, d heat from d welding tool caused a spark and lead to d explosion.

It's completely a swampy area and there is no Where to run to.

Theophilus team was d team dat took over from my team on d 28th June.

This was his first outing after refusing to go for JIV close to 2yrs.

The most shocking part is dat he was not nominated for d job but displaced two other persons dat were suppose to go for d job.

May God console his family , wife and children for this lost.

He was so simple and open minded.

Eeeyah! I thought as much. Safety measures must've been compromised.

May God give the bereaved families the fortitude to bear the losses.
