Why are moslems violently divided amongst themselves,the shiites,the sunnis and whatever?What are their ultimate goals?One allah,yet violently divided adherents.

Christianity is no different. You'll find diivisions between different sects and in some cases, this has turned into violence. There have been massive schisms between Protestantism and Catholisism that have led to nations engaging in open warfare against each other.

In Islam, most of the tension is over the importance of certain prophets although it's ultimate goal (just like Christianity) is the same - the salvation of the soul.

there are twon main sects in islam and it is Sunnis and shiites. These two sects has been as far back as 1350 yra back and it was after the death of Caliph Umar (RA). We worship at the same Ka'abah and use the same quran. The difference is some core beliefs about the companions of the prophet and other deep issues. OVerall it is only in Post Bush's Iraq u find violent divisions and slightly pakistan. Overall there has been no violent tension in this century.

Oh with the only one Allah there is still division, you what I am craked up to know this and by the magnitude of the differnce in division, "some companions of the prophet", it should not have been a problem if really history supported religious idealogy of Muhammed. and some deep issues not to be discussed. hmn ok now the truth don they revel im self small small.
