As long as HE/SHE is defending his/her country then its no sin....if not God would have purnished DAVID for killing golliath

we've all got our calling. Each man will be judged base on how deligent he is with the calling.
The calling of the soldiers is to defend.

Soldiers are the fighting arm of the Executive arm of Govt of whom the Bible says ,''he bears not the sword in vain'' but is ''a revenger to execute wrath'' Romans 13:4

That was when God was using one nation as His special people. He is not doing so now.

For example, if u carry ur AK47 and see ur pastor who happen to belong to the enemy nation, what will u do?

If u are in the war front, and encountered ur Christian brother of another race, what will u do?

All who take sword will perish by it.

I believe they are doing their job.

if God has called you to serve in the ministry and to preach the gospel to the sinners. And henceforth you were to be an evangelist working for the kingdom of heaven but you choose to join the nigerian army to fight in the war. Then youre commiting a grave sin
