Okocha is arguebly best nigerian player of all time.he is regarged as one of the best dribblers in the world.despite not having good players sorrounding him or play in top clubs.

second twice in 1998. He did
however win the inaugural BBC
African Footballer of the Year and
the successive one, becoming the
only player to retain the award
and win it more than once.

all time). In 2007 he was voted
number 12 on the greatest
African footballers of the past 50
years list, on a poll conducted by
CAF to coincide with their 50th

It saddens my heart that Okocha didn't win the African Best Player Award until he retired..still pained till today...he was such a hero to Nigeria and still remains one till present. I can never forget his well taken free kick against Cameroun during his active years.
