A Woman is in a coma after her butt
implants exploded while doing squats for an Instagram Video. Serena Beuford, 27, was working out with a friend. After Beuford’s friend finished
working out, she attempted to record Beuford doing squats to post the video on Instagram. As Beuford was squatting, she heard a loud pop; which prompted her to immediately stop. Soon after the popping sound, Beuford fell to the floor screaming in agony from the pain. Jewel, a patron of the gym said: I heard a loud popping noise followed by the woman falling to the floor. She was screaming my a** is gone!!!; I had no idea what she was talking about until I saw her cushion like butt missing when EMS took her out the gym. She used to always show off her butt in the gym and tried to get guys attention with her
work outs. She was rushed to the hospital where she
went into a coma possibly due to the trauma. Doctors say Serena Beuford is in serious condition. Beuford’s sister, Jackie Beaford said: My sister Serena had visited an unlicensed clinic to get the butt she
really wanted (64 inch bottom). She started to become famous on Instagram and even got a job at a
club. Guys would look at her differently and buy her expensive stuff just because of her butt. The clinic Serena Beuford used for the procedure is currently under investigation. There has been an increasing trend in woman getting butt injections and implants to amass unhealthy sizes. Psychological studies
suggest the trend is due to artists such as Lil
Kim, Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea being worshipped for having fake backsides. According to medical officials, Beuford will require extensive medical procedures to
repair the damage caused by the bad surgery. Physicians says, these surgeries are not healthy for the body and are not meant to last long.

Baartman was born in 1789. She was working
as a slave in Cape Town when she was "discovered" by British ship’s doctor William Dunlop, who persuaded her to travel with him to England.
But it’s clear what Dunlop had in mind – to display her as a "freak", a "scientific curiosity", and make money from these shows, some of which he promised to give to her. Baartman had unusually large buttocks and
genitals, and in the early 1800s Europeans were arrogantly obsessed with their own superiority, and with proving that others, particularly blacks, were inferior and oversexed. Baartman’s physical characteristics, not unusual for Khoisan women, although her features were larger than normal, were. "evidence" of this prejudice, and she was treated like a freak exhibit in London.
She was called the "Hottentot Venus", 'Hottentot' being a name given to people with cattle. The label "Hottentot" took on derogatory connotations, and is no longer used.
Venus is the Roman goddess of love, a cruel reference to Baartman being an object of admiration and adoration instead of the object of leering and abuse that she became. She spent four years in London, then moved to Paris, where she continued her degrading round of shows and exhibitions. In Paris she attracted the attention of French scientists, in
particular Georges Cuvier. Once the Parisians got tired of the Baartman show, she was forced to turn to prostitution. She didn’t last the ravages of a foreign culture and climate, or the further abuse of her body.
She died in 1815, at the age of 25. The cause of death was given as "inflammatory and eruptive sickness",
possibly syphilis. Others suggest she was an alcoholic. Whatever the cause, she lived and died thousands of kilometres from home and family, in a hostile city, with no means of getting herself home again. Cuvier made a plaster cast of her body, then
removed her skeleton and, after removing her brain and genitals, pickled them and displayed them in bottles at the Musee de l’Homme in Paris-#actofcruelty. Some 160 years later they were still on display, but were finally removed from public view in 1974.
Baartman was exhibited first in London, entertaining
people and by showing what were thought of as highly unusual bodily features. Cezar placed her on exhibition in the Egyptian Hall of Piccadilly Circus. She had large buttocks (steatopygia) and was rumored to have the elongated labia. To quote historian of science Stephen Jay Gould, "The labia minora, or inner lips, of the ordinary female Instruments are greatly enlarged in Khoi-San women, and may hang down three or four inches below the vulva when women stand, thus giving the impression of a separate and enveloping curtain of skin".
Baartman was sold to a Frenchman, who took her to his country. She was in France from around September 1814. An animal trainer, S. Réaux,
exhibited her under more pressured conditions for
fifteen months. French naturalists, among them
Georges Cuvier, head keeper of the menagerie at the
Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, visited her.
She was the subject of several scientific paintings at
the Jardin du Roi, where she was examined in.
In 1994, then president Nelson Mandela requested that her remains be brought home. Other representations were made, but it took the French government eight years to pass a bill – apparently worded so as to prevent other countries from claiming the return of their stolen treasures – to allow their small piece of "scientific curiosity" to be returned to South Africa. In January 2002, Sarah Baartman’s remains were returned and buried on 9 August 2002, on South Africa's Women's Day, at Hankey in the Eastern Cape Province. Her grave has since been declared a national heritage site.
