This happened this
afternoon at Ekenwa road in Benin. Two men claiming
right to the road blocked each other on the road. The
driver of the white bus said he was carrying garri so
couldn't move back, while the driver of the other car
said he entered the road first. After sitting in their cars
for several minutes, they both switched off their cars
and went away. Lol. More photos after the cut...

The van seem to have gone further into the diversion than the other car. Seems the smaller car is just being stubborn and had space to wait but chose not to.

True, the van had deviated more than the sedan and the sedan had a maximum of 20 seconds chance to wait a duration which the van would had successfully passed and he (the sedan continues its journey), but typical of Nigerian drivers mentality, always in a rush and no where to go in particular, blocked the road thus terminating the journey.

The truck driver should just get back in his vehicle and gently ease that eyesore of a car out of the road. It's got the muscle for it.
