Habanero Data Nigeria Ltd require an experienced a .NET and C# Programmer who is skilled at developing cutting edge web applications using the components of .net programming. The role requires the design, development and implementation of applications which provide solutions to business problems. Full project life cycle knowledge essential.

This is initially a 2 month contract position and the client is looking for someone to start immediately. However, there is potential for conversion to permanent position depending on performance. Flexibility is essential, as is the ability to adapt with the clients changing needs. The candidate should work well under pressure

Reports to: Technical Director

Location:Lagos

Primary Responsibilities:

Build new systems with .NET 4.0 / C# / SQL Server 2008/2012
Develop new functionality on our existing software products
Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, and C#
Design, code and test new windows and web software application
Demonstratable knowledge of Design Patterns: MVVM, MVP, MVC etc


Qualifications and Requirements:

Successful candidates will likely have at least 5 years of experience in a professional capacity.
Minimum of HND or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area equivalent is preferred.
Three (+) years experience with ASP.NET/C#
Microsoft certifications are a plus
Deep knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework including Visual Studio 2008, C#, XML, VB.NET, ASP.NET, WCF Web Services and ADO.NET
Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
Strong SQL Programming experience
Solid understanding of object-orientated programming (OOP)
Candidates should be self-motivated, independent.
Passionate about building high quality systems with software implementation best practices.

Beneficial:

Knowledge of the following technologies is beneficial, but not essential. However, will give an edge over fellow competitors:
- Sitecore
- HTML 5
- MVC3
