Information Engineering Technology Limited is seeking a hands-on .NET Developer, responsible for developing .NET Web applications.
This position is responsible for translating business requirements into high quality technical designs, database structures and working applications. The .NET Developer is also responsible for integrating and testing moderate to complex .NET 1.1 to 4.6.2 Web applications, ensuring that all technical components are usable, reliable, scalable, extensible, interoperable and reusable. The successful candidate will perform appropriate design/code reviews and unit/integration testing.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Partner with project managers and business analysts to create specs and time/cost estimates and develop deliverables
Translate business requirements into working applications/systems based on .NET (Web applications in VB.NET)
Code, test, debug and support .NET applications
Work in or develop service-oriented architectures
Write T-SQL queries, store procedures, script and troubleshoot
Develop Web services
Support and troubleshoot complex legacy systems
Use Object Oriented Design
Utilize best practices of Systems Development Life Cycle
Work independently and manage own time with assigned tasks from design specifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Comprehensive knowledge of HTML with JavaScript
Experience with MS SQL Server 2008/2012
Working knowledge Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and JAVA very Critical
Knowledge of XML and Web services development
Experience in any of the following areas is a plus, but not required: PHP, Mercurial, .Net MVC, Entity Framework, Cold Fusion, C#, Dot Net Nuke Framework
Must be able to work in a team environment

Education & Work Experience Required:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related technical degree required
2-3 years’ relevant professional experience, to include 1-2 years developing VB.NET Web applications and database design
