1 John 4.8-11 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. The first way God revealed himself to mankind was through His creation. Earth is known as a habitable planet because it has all the necessary conditions that make it possible for mankind, and all the lifeforms that make life easy for him here, present in appopraite levels.
It then becomes obvious that the Creator is one who has us in mind and a loving being who revels in our bliss.
Although human nature has become decadent due to the fall of the first man Adam, God in His loving kindness has provided a way of redemption for us in His Only Begotten Son JESUS.
Jesus Christ and the Cross are the biggest evidence we have that we not only serve the Creator of this awesome universe but that he hasn't given up on us just and that He is truly love.
Our God and the God of this universe is love, not a slave driver who revels in people killing each other in the name of some delusional "holy" war that stems from inherent weakness over life's affairs and yields nothing but wanton destruction seen only with the devil.
