Using BODMAS you'll get 7.

6 - 1 x 0 + 2 / 2

Division first.

2 / 2 = 1.

6 - 1 x 0 + 1

Multiplication next.

1 x 0 = 0.

6 - 0 + 1 = 7.

The answer, my friends, is 7. smiley
undecided undecided undecided undecided
BODMAS.... It means addition before subtraction.

Now, do it again

6-0+1 = 6 - 1 = 5
The undisputable answer by BODMAS is 5

How the heck is that 5??

6 - 0 means you take nothing! Still equals 6.

Then add 1! 7!

In fact. Google, save us ooo!

Ironic that I don't know anything...

Could you write the equation in full so I can see how you got - 1?

Do any of you know what BODMAS is? It means that in equations like this, division gets priority over Multiplication which in turn gets priority over addition and subtraction, which both have equal priority.
