1 Close all Office programs. 2 Choose All programs> Accessory> run from the "Start" menu. 3 Paste the following into the box: reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Options /v NoReReg /t REG_DWORD /d 1 4 Click "OK." 5 Try to open a Microsoft Office program.
