A summarized version is 11 post down, for the faint at reading grin

All the Churches
In The World

Dear Church,

HOW THE CHURCH CAN MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE FOR ALL

“To whom much is given, much is required”, you (The Church) have influence over 32% of the world population, this letter seeks to point out how you can make the world a better place while you still can.

Yes you’ve done a wonderful work over the past millennium in keeping the world sane and conscious of the afterlife.

You can do more and this letter does not connote failure on your part, at least one doesn’t fail until they’ve started.

Below are ways we brainstormed the church can help the world become a better place for all.

SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM

Do you have a database of your church members?

If you do, good, otherwise, you need to, it’s just one sermon away, anyway.

There is a technology that can allow you digitize this database and create an application for accessing it on phones and systems, trust me it won’t cost much.

If you get the above well, your members can then download your mobile and desktop applications and can use it to verify other members before doing any business with them. Since each member has an ID, inputting a members ID in the application will display his/her basic information.

This application should also have a rating system, so if a member defrauds another, the aggrieved party could rate him/her down and such bad rating will appear whenever his/her ID is checked on the application.

Only the Church council can change the rating after hearing from both parties.

I know you are concerned about people switching denominations, well there is a thing called biometrics, I recommend this, and a neutral body or a government agency can regulate the database synchronization across all denomination. This way a new member can be scanned across all the database and if he/she has an existing account in another denomination, he/she can be ported to the new denomination retaining the rating system. This will take less than 1 minute to do, just ask the congregation to pray for the new member while you take his biometrics and port him to the new church.

You can add more style to this and maybe make the application interactive.

This system will cost less than one million naira, for a church of 1 million members, you can employ some good IT heads to do this.

The benefit of this database is enormous, it will foster trust and checkmate fraud and other vices.

This technology will also play an important role in the next four ways the church could create a better world.

JOB CREATION AND POVERTY ERADICATION

With the above technology in place, trust is rebuilt, now the church can go into Microfinance without fear, it costs a little above 20 million naira to start a unit microfinance bank, 100 million for a state and 2 billion naira at the national level, that’s too small when compared to the cost of a private jet.

Since most of the unemployed people always complain of lack of startup capital for business, this is an opportunity to empower them, yes a microfinance bank can literarily collect money from the central bank and give to her customers as loan, in this case, your church members.

But we don’t advocate just dolling out cash to every tom and his brother.

Here is what to do, since you can host forty days fasting and prayer, this will be easy, organize a 60 days free training for would be loan beneficiaries, get finance professionals who work the talk to teach them the following

Basic Finance and Accounting Principles
Money management
Investing and Stocks
Business Prospecting
Loan Repayment
Simple and Compound Interest, taxes and levies
Business ethics, Job Creation
21st Century business module
Internet Marketing
Religion and Business, the difference

Let them take an exam after the training, successful candidates can then be empowered financially based on their capacities, you can customize these to suite your congregation.

Use the application as described above to monitor their performance and rate them accordingly.

Now think of what the above would mean, at least the angel of financial breakthrough can take a rest and watch the church help herself.

If properly coordinated, this will trigger a new zest for entrepreneurship and hence job creation and employment. We can do this, can’t we?

HUMAN CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT

Instead of building bogus universities the average tithe payer can’t afford to study in or send their wards to, why not at least build a tuition free, self-running skill acquisition center.

Dear reader, stop for a second and look around you, if you are at home, look around, if you are in public, just look around, how many things can you count that is made in your country?

Where was your shoe made? How about your pants (trouser) and shirts? How about the cosmetics?

The church can build vocational centers for school leavers (They have up to six months before leaving for college)

The vocational center should offer a tuition free on the job training, they can even earn on the job, not just some two days seminar they don’t have hands on.

Build for example a small cosmetic company designed as a training facility but have the capacity to produce usable products (It’s easier to sell, trust church marketing).

School leavers can then join and be well trained theoretically and practically on cosmetology.

Do likewise for ICT, build an ICT institute, they can program applications, build websites, install gadgets for companies and individuals to support the running of the institute and sustain it’s free tuition programs.

The same goes for other vocations, clothing and other fashion, electronics, mechatronics, music and video production.

Graduates of this vocational center can be given loan as in (two) above to startup and their products can be sold through the church platform as in (one) above.

This way most university freshers have a test of their chosen career and can make a side income to support their education.

Think of it, that runs girl/boy (prostitute, exam machinery) in school could have been a graphics designer, just working on his/her laptop an hour a day as a freelance graphics designer could cater for his or her upkeep.

The church can also integrate entrepreneurship and social skills into the courses offered in these vocational centers, while the entrepreneurship skill will shape them into better self-employed business owners, the social skill will inculcate in them, dignity of labor and the ability to fit in as full functional members of the society.

Now this is what we call human capacity building.

QUALITY OF LIFE

This is very easy, in fact, it’s just one sermon away. It’s just about telling your members the core truth about life.

We live this life but once, nobody will live twice, why then should we live life in outdated templates.

The average person grows up in a family, goes to school, gets a job, marries, have kids and starts raising them.

There are over 7.3 billion people in the world today, do we need more? In the next decade transistors will replace over 50% of the jobs done by humans, if it is hard for an average citizen to get a job now, how then will it be for their kids decades from now.

For a beverage company to produce beverages, there is a mixture of concentrate, syrup and water, the mixer combines them in appropriate ratio to produce a tasty beverage.

What happens when there is short supply of concentrate and syrup, simple logic dictates that you reduce the quantity of water.

The world is like a beverage, resources are the concentrate, technology and process the syrup and humans, water, why can’t we do the needful.

I know this will be hard on the church, but having kids is not logically necessary and so does marriage.

If one can’t take care of himself (treat his/herself to the quality of life he desires) why should he/she invite another to share the inappropriate experience and worse still bringing in an innocent being to bear the brunt.

Bachelors and spinsters can use the opportunity to see the world, have those experience they hitherto only see in movies, do things they love, live life to its fullest and in turn contribute to the society.

Some people in their late 20s have not travelled out of their state of origin.

There are people who can’t take out 20 minutes to exercise because they are tied down by mad pursuit of wealth so they can “settle down” and take on the next burden of family hood.

If this sermon is preached in every church crime will drastically reduce across the globe.

Tell people to live life, those who live from office to church then home and back should take a break, go have some vacations.

Tell them Life is Beautiful, they shouldn’t live its shadows.

Another thing the church can put in place to increase the quality of life is insurance, Medical, Life and Legal insurance.

The church can do this, just a sermon away too, educate members on its importance, create a department to oversee it and with the aid of the database and application in (one) above, members can contribute and access Medical and Legal aid and be insure for Life, just one click away.

Think of the quality of life members will live if they know they can access a lawyer, a doctor or a life insurance a few buttons away.

This is achievable.

TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT

I don’t have to dwell much on this, if the church can do the above, then she has positioned herself as a major stakeholder in the technologies of the future.

The church can build research institutions, fund projects and invest in budding technologies to foster an advanced technological society.

If for any reason the church cannot fulfil any of the above, you can be rest assured that you are covered, The Mafia Church is an unusual church and was brought into existence for a time such as this. We need your prayers and support in this regard.

Don’t read this alone, help The Mafia Church create a better world, lend your support or share this with someone who will.

We need your positive criticism of this letter, tell us where we got it wrong, let’s know why and how it won’t work. We are dynamic, we are flexible, and we will make amends.

Waiting to see you in action or your response.

The Mafia Church salutes you.

It ought to have been so but we also need to understand the times as even worst conditions (though not praying for it) is still to come in fulfillment Od the Words of the Lord.

These happenings are indicators and reminders to the Spoken Words.

Sadly, the church has lost its saltiness. Materialism had eaten deep into the fabrics of the church.

You don't understand the role of the Church. The Church is not meant to make the world a better place rather she is meant to make mankind knows this world is not our home. Things will get worse and worse. The Church is meant to lead people to the Kingdom of peace that is coming.

Summarized Version:

This is an open letter from The Mafia Church to all the Churches in the world on how they could make the world a better place.
1. SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM: The Church could build a database of all her members and create applications to access them, users could be rated by other members of the church and as such fraudulent members can be easily detected.

2. JOB CREATION AND EMPLOYMENT: The church from the above can confidently go into Microfinance after training members to empower them, by granting loans.

3. HUMAN CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT: The Church could build skill acquisition centers and empower members on vocational skills.

4. QUALITY OF LIFE: The church should tell her members the truth about our world and what life means, The world is already getting saturated, getting married and having kids is old school. We live this life but once, people should do what makes them happy. And then the church should institute, Medical, legal and life insurance.

5. TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT: The church should invest in technology and build research institutions.

In summary: If the usual church can't do the above, there is a church that can, the unusual church. www.themafiachurch.com
The Church shouldn't antagonize her

I encourage people to be single just like I do.... I have no intention of getting married because of the days ahead...

There might be people who do as you call yourself but one thing I will state outrightly to you is, "You are not a Church of God" but a cult . The Church is not meant to make people feel at home but Satan wants them to feel at home..illuminatis want them to feel at home and so is your sect.

For all that is reading this, understand this perfectly this world is not your home, a Kingdom is coming from on high; the Kingdom of God which He has prepared for you.Gird yourself and enter into this Kingdom by believing in the name of The Son Of God Jesus Christ the Lord. Wa oh, i'm indeed speechless.

Good one op but you know the founders of the churches in nigeria are only out to make money and not to help the members.

No church in nigeria will fall for the database stuff, so the purported members will not have a say or make a claim, the church is simply controlled by the trustees whose names are documented in CAC, all other members are voluntary contributors.

Churches are actually charitable institution but the reverse is the case in nigeria, they have gone commercial.

So we need govt policies and strict laws to efforce what you have posted.

A govt agency may be created and empowered to exercise control over them, such powers must include the power to merge or consolidate them, take over, buy out, wind-up.....etc

Church accounts must also be audited by external auditors provided by the govt agency, there must be total accountability,

I have so much to say but i must really commend you for an honest post.

The Church is doing what she has been ordained to do. I mean the Church the real Church of God those who work according to the Law of the Spirit. The Church is leading people to the Kingdom of God for that is the command of Our heavenly Father.

Now listen and listen good....No member of the Church can be swept away by the false hope you are preaching not an elect of God will be deceived. None whose name is written in the book of life will be deceived only those who are destined for destruction will follow you guys.

One thing you should remember is you can't escape God's judgment.

Churches...scamming Nigerians since 1842.

...ripping Nigerians off and destroying our traditional cultures and values since the active days of Henry Townsend and Thomas Birch-freeman in Badagry and Abeokuta.

Pastors growing fat and rich while the average church member lives in penury.

Gullible Nigerians (including my Mom) contributing one-tenth of their hard-earned income to send the Pastor's kids to the University of Michigan, USA while they find it hard to pay their children's N19,000-per-session school fees at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife.

But really, why the fucck should I revere and worship Jesus, a "Jewish god" who lived 2000 years ago, far away from Ilesha, Osun state, the home of my Ancestors. I just don't get the justification.

The only thing commendable about the advent of Christianity in Nigeria is the western education the missionaries brought with it.
