A lone goal from midfielder Emmanuel Osei Baffour saw league leaders Ashanti Gold beat Liberty Professional 1-0 at the Obuasi Lane Clay Sports Stadium to keep their title hopes alive.

Stephen Asare Baffour and Nathanial Asamoah scored for Berekum Chelsea and Medeama respectively as the two teams shared the spoils when the game ended in a 1-1 stalemate at the Golden City Park.

Aduana Stars maintained their impressive form by beating Bechem United 1-0 at the Agyemang Badu Park. Striker Richard Ahin was on target for Aduana Stars.

Great Olympics gave themselves a lifeline in the League after holding Sekondi Hasaacas to a 1-1 stalemate at the Essipong Stadium in Sekondi. Kwame Boateng and Kwadwo Poku scored for Olympics and Hasaacas respectively.

Elsewhere in Wa, a solitary strike from Emmanuel Ocran was enough for Wa All Stars to post a narrow 1-0 win over New Edubaise.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko secured the bragging rights over Hearts of Oak after ditching their rivals 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium. Captain Amos Frimpong and Dauda Mohammed were on target for Kotoko while defender Issah Mumuni got the consolation for Hearts.

Inter-Allies were recorded a 2-1 win over Hearts of Lions at the Tema Park on Saturday. Baba Mensah and Ropapa Mensah scored for Inter-Allies while Prince Aquah scored a late consolation for the visitors.
