LOCATING THE QIBLA
Finding your way is very important in worshiping Allah, most importantly our 5 daily prayers. The Qibla is the direction towards the Ka’aba in Makkah, Saudi Arebia.
Here are some tips in locating the Qibla:
1. The SUN: Knowing where the sun rises and sets can get you in the direction of Mecca. Know the behaviour of the shadow when the sun rises and when the sun is about to set.
2. A COMPASS: Compass are now located on some praying mate. You can also have a compass with you when you going to place you are not sure of the Qibla.
3. MODERN TECHNOLOGY: One can download a Qibla locator on his phone. From your App Store, Iphone, iPad, just type Qibla locator or Makka direction.

Few More Tips
• The exact geographical coordinates for the Ka’aba are 21°25′21.15″N 39°49′34.1″E.
• If traveling to an unfamiliar location or someplace outdoors, try to note your location beforehand, then use one of the aforementioned techniques to find the correct direction to Makkah (be careful ).
• You can attend a local Mosque, which will face toward the Qibla and use it as a guide.
