Your STATE in life does not determine your STANDING with God... What is STATE & what is STANDING in dis concept you might ask....  ? 1) Your STATE in life is how you see yourself at a particular time and how u feel about life's issues.... 2) Your STANDING with GOD is how God sees you..... As a Believer in Christ, your state in life doesn't change how God sees you.... You might be feeling down, depressed, unwanted & not qualified to stand in the presence of God but you know what... God doesn't see you dat way.... When God looks at you, He is seeing JESUS... God sees us from the finished work of Christ... So no matter your state or condition in life, God's opinion of us doesn't change. We are His children which was made possible by the Salvation we have in CHRIST Jesus..... As a Believer in CHRIST, it is important for you to see God as Abba Father, Daddy God.... the one who loves you eternally..... Believers should not lose sight of our blessed Hope in CHRIST which is Eternal Life.... You might be discouraged by what is going on around you or by what is happening in the world right now But please don't lose Hope. Cos God said it in His word dat as many that receive CHRIST in their lives as their Lord & Personal Saviour, he has given them Eternal Life...... Most Christians have difficulty in understanding the Bible today cos they read it out of Context. The Bible is designed in such a way that if you read it as literature, it might not make much sense to you and datz why u need the Holy Spirit to guide you. The Bible is written to 3 groups of people, namely: 1) The Jews 2) The Gentiles 3) The Church But the problem today is dat modern day Christians mash up the whole Bible passages. There might be some places God is addressing the Jews only or the Gentiles and not the Church, but the Church will rope themselves in that situation and datz where controversies arise. In the above video by Pastor Joseph Prince, see as he divides the word of God by the leading of the Holy Spirit and know that some passages in the Bible are not talking to you. So my people, CHRIST has atoned for everything, the Cross changed so many things and He said it is FINISHED!!!! God wants us to have a THRONE Attitude...
