A faster way,

plug in the infested flash drive,

go to my computer,

open the flash drive,

hold down the shift key,

right click and select "open command window here" .
Now the command window will open

then copy and paste the command the op stated above, wait for some time your files will appear.

More : before you do the above, make sure you have scanned the flash drive before opening it. To avoid infesting your PC.
