I know you will quote me. The OP started off by saying Allah( swt) doesn't have any attributes meaning love which i refuted now you are back sounding defeated. The brother has given you verses When you say God is merciful. When Allah is willing to forgive us every single time we fall short and He says He's closer to us than our jugular vein and we don't need to pray through anyone before connecting to him. That's unconditional love.
. Which allah are you taking about. The very one that that allowed muhammad to sleep with a 9 year old girl and the same one that supports unjust bloodshed & genocide.
My friend stop dodging the question. Is there any single commandment to love in the quran or not. The reason why Islam breaths bloodshed is obvious. There's no single commandment of love. It's all endless hate, rape, slavery, beheading, bloodshed.
Looks like you're stubborn! Stop using biblical standards to judge the Qur'an, the brother explained and refuted what you were backing on. The Qur'an and bible are two different books. I asked you a question you refused to answer, is your god love?!
if you read the op , you wouldn't have ask this question. It looks like muslims are double stander in their argument, rilwayn say the quran correct the bible and now you are saying no, don't compear the two books. The brother did not provide a single verse that talk about unconditional love for sinners and saint's.
Lets be realistic here. Is this seriously possible?
I really get scared when people say stuff like this. Looks a lot like lip Does Allah Love Unbelievers? One of Allah’s 99 Names is al-Waddud , “the Loving.” Allah is called al-Waddud twice in the Qur’an . In 11:90, the prophet Shu’aib tells the people of Midian, “Ask pardon, then, from your Lord, then turn to Him; verily, my Lord is merciful, loving!” Likewise, in 85:12-16 we read: Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, and He is the Forgiving, the Loving, Lord of the Throne of Glory, Doer of what He will. Nevertheless, other passages in the Qur’an qualify Allah’s love significantly. While Allah is said to love those who do good deeds (2:195), those who are pure (2:222), those who are righteous (9:7), and those who fight in his cause (61:4), the Qur’an is equally clear that Allah has no love for transgressors (2:190), ungrateful sinners (2:276), the unjust (3:57), or the proud (4:36). Even more significantly, the Qur’an states that Allah does not love non-Muslims: Qur’an 3:31-32 —Say [O Muhammad]: If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your faults, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. Say: Obey Allah and the Apostle; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the unbelievers . Qur’an 30:43-45 —Then turn thy face straight to the right religion before there come from Allah the day which cannot be averted; on that day they shall become separated. Whoever disbelieves, he shall be responsible for his disbelief, and whoever does good, they prepare (good) for their own souls, that He may reward those who believe and do good out of His grace; surely He does not love the unbelievers . Notice that 3:31-32 makes Allah’s love contingent on whether a person believes in Muhammad . This is similar to what we find in 19:46, which declares: “Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love.” Hence, although Allah is called “the Loving,” the Qur’an only means by this that Allah will love people once they believe in him and obey his prophet. The god of Islam has no love for sinners and unbelievers. Interestingly, the “Love me first and I’ll love you back” kind of love exhibited by Allah in the Qur’an is condemned by Jesus in Matthew 5:43-48: “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” For more on the god of Islam, visit our “Allah” page. malvisguy212: Lukay99 All the quranic verse you provide are conditional love, Allah only love the believers, the quran commandment of love is straight forward to only the believers, what you are doing now is , trying to bring contradiction in the quran,I provide a verse in the op which say Allah only love the believers and you are trying to bring another verse that say Allah love the believers and unbelievers, is this not contradiction ? Although you failed to provide the verse that talk about unconditional love for ALL. But an attempt mean contradiction.
Check this out:
Matthew 5:38-48 38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[h] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. 41 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. 42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[i] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Now read verse 47 again, verse 47 talk about conditional love and it went on to say , EVEN THE SINNER can love those who love them. Is it not what Allah commanded the muslims to do ?
Just like you said Allah's love is conditional, do you really think your God in your Bible do not have conditional love too ? my question to you is this, what's the purpose of life ? Why are we put on this planet? Are we not all put for a test ? Whoever passes go to Heaven and whoever fails goes to Hell (this is the truth for both religion) at the end of the day when it's all said and done the God of both Quran and Bible will put unbelievers in the Hot blazing fire for ever and ever and ever and ever is this what you call unconditional love in your Bible? The truth is that God does not like/love evil but God love/like good deed or righteousness the Quran is more realistic on this issue about God's love even though Allah from the Quran dislike evil or unbelievers it also said this about unbeliever “God does not forbid you to be kind and equitable to those who have neither fought against your faith nor driven you out of your homes. In fact God loves the equitable.” Qur’an:60:8 from this verse you can see that even though Allah dislike unbeliever we as muslims still can still be kind and equitable with non muslims as long as they are not trying to fight the Muslims
Read this In the Name of Allah the most Beneficent the mist Merciful who are you to tell us which Allah attribute is the least one how did you come to the conclusion that Love is not Allah's number one attribute do you even know if all his attributes are all equally his main attributes?

No my friend, the purpose of God creating us is for spiritual creatures to love God or reject Him. Those who worship Him will spend eternity in a pain free world.
In the bible, God first love us while we were YET sinners in other for Him to secure our salvation, salvation is for ALL including sinners, BUT the sinners have to repent to be save. If God should hate sinners, then I must say this, God will have to hate everyone of us because NO ONE can boast, he is PERFECT. The bible say "ALL have sinned" we as sinners , we need His mercy, but in the quran, we see a different God who hate sinners , if God hate sinner, is there any hope for them ?
In other for us to be right with God, God incarnate and dwell in Human form just to reconciled us to Himself, bible say He first love us.
How do we enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ? We do this through belief in Him: 1.Repent of your sin and selfishness. Repentance is agreeing with God that you have been wrong and being willing to turn from that old life to a new life in Christ. 2.Receive Jesus Christ as your Lord (God and Master) and Savior (who takes away your sin). 3.Receive the Holy Spirit as the promise of what God will do in your life. 4. Thank God for His grace and the free gift that He has given you.
Once you receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you should walk with Him every day. Jesus said, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments"( John 14:15). Talk to Him every day in prayer and do what He says. Find a good Christian fellowship (church) and read from your Bible every day. These things are not required to keep your salvation, but they will help you to grow in your faith and obedience and to experience more joy in your walk with Christ. When we come before God's throne in the new creation, it will be good to hear the words... ...Well done, good and faithful servant... enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.
malvisguy212: In the middle of the confusion of the war on terrorism is the question of the nature of the religion of Islam. Some say that it is a peaceful religion at its heart, that only the fringe extremists are bent on war.
One side claims that "jihad" means a personal struggle against evil in one's behavior. Others claim that it means conquest of the part of the world that is not Muslim, by whatever means necessary, including acts of terror.
Both sides refer to specific passages in the Koran for support. For the soul winner, these are not the important issues. Bible believers are asking, "How can we reach Muslims with the gospel which will solve their struggle against evil?"
One way involves God's love. The biblical concept of God loving the sinner, is FOREIGN TO MUSLIM THINKING. To them, Allah is "compassionate" and "merciful," BUT only to those who obey him.
Their relationship to Allah is not as father and son but more as MASTER AND SLAVE. Allah is not pictured in the quran as a loving Creator, longing for an intimate relationship with man.
Biblical concepts found in John 3:16, 1 John 4:6-10 ("God is love" and in the Lord's prayer where we address God as "Our Father" are nowhere found in Muslim thinking. Muslims memorize the "99 beautiful names of Allah,"BUT "love" or "loving" is no where in that list.
"The love of God is the chief attribute of the biblical God as revealed in such places as John 3:16.God has feelings for his creatures, especially man"
But when we turn to the Quran, we do not find love presented as the chief attribute of Allah. Instead, the transcendence of Allah is his chief attribute.
"Neither does Allah 'have feelings' toward man. That concept is foreign to Islamic teaching. That would reduce Allah to being a mere man -which again is blasphemous to a Muslim."
"The greatest difference between the two faiths is the personal quality of God," writes Emir and Ergun Caner in Unveiling Islam. "ONE MUST LOVE Allah IN ORDER FOR Allah TO LOVE THAT PERSON IN RETURN .In Christianity, God loved people first in order to secure their salvation"
The story that Jesus told of the prodigal son illustrates a side of God that is foreign to the followers of Allah. The Quran states flatly that "Allah loves NOT those who reject Faith"(surah 3:32). "The Muslim can be totally sure that Allah will never restore a believer who has rejected the faith of Islam," we must show the Muslim that Allah offers "no love, no sure forgiveness of sins and only empty dreams of a false paradise."
Only Jesus, the God of the Bible, loved us while were yet sinners, offering sure forgiveness, and eternal life with a loving heavenly Father.

And turn not your face away from men with pride [Luqmaan 31:18]
And be moderate (or show no arrogance) in your walking, and lower your voice [Luqmaan 31:19]
And give not a thing in order to have more (or consider not your deeds of obedience to Allaah as a favour to Allaah) [al-Muddaththir 74:6]

“Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden (paradise) whose width is that of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous – Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity or in adversity, who restrain (their) anger and pardon (all) men – for God loves those who do good.” Qur’an:3:133-134
“Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has faith, verily, to them will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure, and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions.” Qur’an:16:97
The parable of those who spend their wealth in the way of God is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. God gives manifold increase to whom He wishes. God has boundless knowledge. Those who spend their wealth in the cause of God, and do not follow their charity with reminders of their generosity or injure the feeling of the recipient, shall get their reward from their Lord; they shall have nothing to fear or to regret.Kind words and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. Verily, if Allah has loved a servant, He calls Gabriel, upon him be peace, and says, “I love so-and-so, therefore love him.” So Gabriel loves him. Then he calls out in heaven, saying, “Allah loves so-and-so, therefore love him.” And the inhabitants of heaven love him. Then acceptance is established for him on earth. And if Allah has disliked a servant, He calls Gabriel and says, “I dislike so-and-so, therefore dislike him.” So Gabriel dislikes him. Today, I will shelter them in My shade; a Day when there is no shade but Mine.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 32, Number 6225]
Lukay99 did not say anything, All the verses he provide are only talking about unconditional love. Love for only the believers and for Allah.
Allah is said to love those who do good deeds(2:195),those who are pure(2:222), those who are righteous (9:7),and those who fight in his cause (61:4), the Qur’an is equally clear that Allah has no love for transgressors (2:190), ungrateful sinners (2:276), the unjust (3:57), or the proud (4:36). Even more significantly, the Qur’an states that Allah does not love non-Muslims:
Qur’an 3:31-32—Say [O Muhammad]: If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your faults, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. Say: Obey Allah and the Apostle; but if they turn back, then surely Allah DOES NOT LOVE THE UNBELIEVERS .
Verses like this are no where to be found in the quran:
Proverbs 25:21 If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. Luke 6:27 "But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, Luke 6:28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

Only Jesus, the God of the Bible, loved us while were yet sinners, offering sure forgiveness, and eternal life with a loving heavenly Father.
malvisguy212: In the middle of the confusion of the war on terrorism is the question of the nature of the religion of Islam.
Muslims memorize the "99 beautiful names of Allah,"BUT "love" or "loving" is no where in that list.

the muslims know that any attempt to prove that Allah love both the unbelievers and believers, will amount to contradiction, that why they are afraid to reply.

In the Bible we can read how Jehovah God cares for his prophets. He protects them from being deceived by their adversaries: Psalms 105:14-15: “And God did not allow any human to defraud them, But on their account he reproved kings, Saying: ‘Do not you men touch my anointed ones, And to my prophets do nothing bad.’” In complete contrast, we find Allah doing the very opposite. He defrauds the prophets by appointing evil men and demons to lead them astray. Surah 6:112: “So have We appointed for every Prophet an enemy – devils of men and Jinns; who inspire each other with seductive, deceptive speech which leads astray.”

I found all these arguments at times very funny, so after asserting that there is no love at all in his attribute, they now cited authorities that there ARE not there IS, so now after the op must have anticipated that there Are, the next argument of his was that although there is but it was conditional love, and so if I decided to proof the conditional love, in which you know the anticipated answer, or even when the answer has been given, then you now move to another myopic argument. Don't you see that what you are doing now to us is also Conditional, common sensically speaking, by not even going far is there something in life that is not conditional, starting with your body system, you shall not be strong until you eat, u shall not deficate until your food digested, you shall not function well until you sleep etc...

So, you think enemy were not appointed for jesus too,if that is the case he will not have engaged in whether he was actually crucified or not, or if at all you are leaving in reality, have you ever seen a successful person without having enemy either less or high, either weak or strong enemy, just think about this, our prayer should be to triumph over enemies set down by God, so I don't think we are in this world to play, even the obvious example like football play is not a play especially when your opponent were circumventing all your effort to score, were they not enemies in football play, if there is no enemy on the field, why do we need referees, linesman and all that...
