I was listening to one of the nigerian music legend Sir victor owaifo song titled "Guitar Boy". He claimed the song was inspired by his encounter with a "mami water" (mermaid) while lounging on Bar Beach, Lagos, apparent by the lyrics. Also we were told when we were still very young some tales that involved mami water. But are they real? What is your take on this |
