Hello house,hv been a regular member of NL but the section that hv always give me head ache has been LITERATURE; though I read books from business, motivational but stories or novel hv always been a No-No for me and my reason has always been "what do I stand to gain from reading them" therefore I want you guys to explain to me what my ignorance might be costing me,by the way I've got a new android phone of which reading is one of its purpose. thanks

Its your choice! You have nothing to loose but you stand to gain something because there is always something hidden in a book that will surely add something new to your knowledge or clerify and change your perception of something or someone. No matter how senseless a book is, there is must be a little sense hidden somewhere.
