C'mon dude, you think he was killed and thrown inside? Remember he had buckets with him inside. Besides, something similar has happened in Warri where I live. This time around it was a barge containing diesel and the victims were two friends. Petroleum products emit fumes. Such fumes are capable of suffocating one if there is limited oxygen, just like inside that tanker. That guy wasn't killed. He attempted stealing diesel and he died in the process.

How did they find out he was in there? I have the feeling he didn't go alone, he probably went with a friend who must have stayed outside the tank and was supposed to be on the lookout, and collecting the diesel while the other guy is busy scooping it from the inside.

But maybe his friend betrayed him and ran off the moment the other guy jumped inside the tank, and since no one was there to pull him out, he unfortunately lost his life.

So his friend must have secretly left a tip behind so people can find out later that there was a dead body in there.

This happened this evening in one of the filling stations along Asaba-Onitsha express way in Asaba. A tanker conductor went to steal diesel from a parked tanker at the filling station last night. He went inside the tanker with his rubber cans but unfortunately did not succeed and he died inside. It took some men of Delta State fire service to cut open a part of the tanker to bring his dead body out. I have exclusive photos and they are graphic so be warned. Continue to see the photos...
