Why do Estate Agents Charge 2yrs Agency and Commission for a One year rent? I mean is this even legal? 3bdr 1 yr rent: N800,000 Agency : N160,000 Commission: N 160,000 Caution Fee: N 50,000 ( refundable) Total. : N 1,170,000 Kindly Advice people. |

Its funny really. These guys are smart and wicked/desperate. When I was searching for a house, an agent told me that I should pay consultation fee AKA movement fee of 3k. I paid and still drove him in my car. Ok he keep rooming the town until he saw I was upset b4 he finally took me to a decent apartment. He said am gonna pay for 2yrs and 10% extra as agent fee. That means 10% of the 2yr rent! I just laughed. Finally I paid for 10%of 1yr. My question to the idiotic agents is this If I can afford to pay for 5yrs at a go, does it mean am gonna pay for 10% of 5yr rent? |
