Without faith it is impossible to please God Heb 11:6. But with faith, you will please God. You have wondered what you need to do to please God, well here is the answer. Your pleasing God is the reason you were created. You want to no why you are created, this is it Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. When you begin to walk by faith, you begin to bring pleasure and delight to God. This is fulfilling your purpose in life and this is the reason why you were made by God. Do you know what you can do not to please God, or what to do not to fulfill your purpose in life? Heb10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. God expect you to live by faith every second and every minutes of the day. You stop to please or bring Him pleasure when you are not living by faith. By so doing, you are not fulfilling your purpose in life.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Mat 6:30. When there is little faith, that means there can be great faith. Many people have asked and wondered what they need do to have great faith. As much as they sincerely desire to have great faith, yet they shy away from messages on faith. They read many good books on different topics, but none on faith. Most believers have read the great chapter on faith “Hebrew 11” many times and believe they know all there is to know about faith. Little wonder when you go to a bookshop for books or compact disc, after going through the shelf you never bother to pick subjects on faith, rather you select titles like “The throne of God, The Names of God etc. Whatever knowledge you get from any of those books and not applied in faith will not produce much result, and this is because faith is the foundation of all knowledge. Without faith you cannot please God, He that comes to Him must believe that He is (exist) and He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him (Heb10:cool.

I thank God I have learnt so much about faith and still learning. In the course of my studies some few years ago and through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, I got to learn that there are two categories of faith, the Faith within (everyday faith), and the faith upon (unusual faith). Faith upon is faith that is outside of one self, and it is beside the individuals own knowledge or understanding. 1Co 12:9 and to another faith by the same Spirit; and to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit. Faith within is faith that is personal to oneself and its growth and strength is depended on an individuals self will. Rom 12:3b but set your mind to be right-minded, even as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith. Faith within is faith that is personal to oneself and its growth and strength is depended on an individuals self will. Rom 12:3b but set your mind to be right-minded, even as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Having great faith is built upon multiple of used or applied common faith. What then is common faith? Common faith can be defined as the everyday, often or usual faith applied by individuals in their everyday life situations. They are sometimes faith regarded as of minor importance. To have great faith, you have to learn to build on common faith applied in situations that results in so called little victories. If you don’t have faith to heal headaches, it will be impossible for you to have faith to heal HIV/AIDs. The problem with so many Christians is that they don’t know how to build; rather they burn their bridges and never relate to it again. Imagine someone spending time to build a ladder, and upon completion, used the ladder to climb a wall. When he got to the top, he decides to push the ladder away because he assumed there won’t be need for it again, only to find out that there are still more levels he need to climb but has to make another one? No faith is too small. The little faith of today will become great faith tomorrow if exercised. You exercise your faith just as you exercise your physical body. An unused power or faith will dissipate. This is the reason we are told “The just shall live by faith” Heb 10:38.

Faith vs. Reasoning

The greatest enemy to faith is reasoning. As faith is to the heart, so is reasoning to the head. While faith rest on the word of God, reasoning rests on the senses. Jesus Christ is our head, we are the body. The center of the body is the heart, which is where God dwells and where he communicates with us. When you submit to the Lordship of Jesus, He being the head, you have no business trying to be the head again (there can be no two master), but rather you listen to your heart and act upon it. On the contrary, reasoning listens to the dictate of the world system whose head is the devil (god of this world). A typical example is peter walking on the water. The Word beckon him “come”, His heart responded by acting but reasoning set in by considering the wind and the waves. Same way, many believers receive directions from God but begin to consider what people will say about it, or how it can be done. Who is the Head? Jesus or the devil? The creator of the universe, or the temporal thief of it?

Is reasoning utterly useless? No. The scripture says see more http://rhemaworldintl.org/?p=203
