It was never Gods plan that man should suffer, but it is so because man disobeyed God. MAN DISOBEYED, because he had the freewill to choose between Good and bad. The same goes with d deceiver who had pride and was casted down to the earth... woe unto man(Rev 12:9). Jesus Christ came for the salvation of man and to pay the price for our sins.

Someone may ask what those that signify or how does it correlate...if I offended you and there is a law(punishment) that that goes with
It, and you don't compromise, surely the offender must serve his punishment. Lets say all of a sudden someone comes up and starts begging, or you out of pity wants to show mercy, there must be a price to be paid (that is called bailout in law court )... That's what Jesus Christ did for us.
The Lord never had d plan to create a robot, he gave man the privilege to choose.
Yes you may as well ask, if he knew man will disobey, why create theme. To put things right The lord made us Gods, he made us look like him, and Gods are not controlled!
Finally life seems hard because, we disobey, because we don't hear from God and even when we hear we don't obey or looks foolish to us.

Cast your cares on the lord, he will never fail.(psalm 55:22),

(Philippians 4:6) Do not be anxious about anything, but in every
situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God.
