They kinda pay the same role when looking at them from the same perspective, worship is a form of acknowledging God for who he is and his glory, praise on the other hand is appreciating what God has done for you by exposing your joy in honoring him with songs, melodies etc and while doing that you are also worshipping him. Both are important in our Christian life but praise for me is the one that God likes most because even the bible records that God inhabits the praise of his people.
If you have a son, which of the two will you cherish more from your son?

Your life rather.
It's your heart first before praise and or worship.
Are you regenerated? Are you blood washed? Have you experience the second birth? Is your name in the Lamb's book of life?
These are the things to consider first before offering any praise, worship or thanksgiven to the Lord that will be acceptable!
Once the answer to the above questions is yes without deceiving yourself and that from a pure heart, then offer either - praise and or worship - to the Lord and the Almighty will accept either or both alike with a blessing!
Jesus is coming soon, so let's let our light so shine before men that they may daily see our good works and glorify the God of heaven.
