For some days now all network providers have been sending serial text messages to their customers asking them to go re-register their lines or get barred from the services. Airtel sent me a message two days ago and blocked my line yesterday. I had to go to their office where I met a mammoth crowd but still managed to register after about an hour. On the other hand MTN has been sending me messages for days now but today they finally sent me a message that states in clear terms that I will be blocked or barred from their services today if I don't go and re verify/register my line. Its been hell here as there has been series of quarrels, near fights and arguments because of this exercise. Its 12.32pm now and the 1st sets of people are about to be registered. This is at Hospital Road opposite Tegaton hotel in Ekpan, Effurun Delta state. How is this exercise going in your area. Plz share with pictures.
