"...letting us in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth." (Eph 1:9-10 MSG)

The Bible reveals that long ago, before the foundation of the world God had been planning to sum up everything in Christ. But the question is, how is God going to do that?

"Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself]." (Eph 1:23 AMP)

Christ is going to fill all things with himself. God does not just desire to reconcile all things to Himself, but He also wants to become all in all. This is the eternal purpose which He seeks out to fulfill in Christ. When God reconciled man to Himself, He didn't stop there but He seeks out to fill man with Christ. He does the same thing to everything reconciled through Christ both in heaven and on earth, yes He desires that everything be filled with Christ.

Let fame be filled with Christ so that the only fame that would exist is that which is Christ himself. Let knowledge be filled with Christ and knowledge shall no longer be a thing separated from Christ but knowledge shall be Christ himself. Let riches become filled with Christ and the only riches that would exist is that which is Christ himself. Now let turn back to ourselves and let Christ fill everything about us with himself.

Let our time be filled with Christ so that our time would no longer be something that we own, something that we could use however we like, but it shall become Christ himself. Let our thought be filled with Christ and our words be filled with Christ. Let it come to a place were each time we want to talk about a subject or describe a thing we realize that there is no better way to explain or describe this thing than to simply say 'it is Christ', because when we look at anything all we see is Christ (he has filled it with himself). Let our wisdom and ways become Christ. Let our entertainment and amusement be filled with Christ so that the things that entertain or amuse us would no longer be things separated from Christ and Christ shall be our entertainment and Our amusement.

Yes, even our education, be fill with Christ so that education would not be something separated from Christ that we are pursuing but our education shall become Christ himself. So it goes on and on,the truth is that everything both in heaven and earth shall become filled with Christ and Christ would be all in all. This is the mystery of God from the foundation of the world, that God might be all in all through Christ. Yes! This is all that matters, this is the reason we are Christians, this is the reason we gather as a church, this is our calling; to fulfill this ageless plan of God, to give ourselves and put rigorous effort to this tasks, to submit to the Spirit so that Christ might be all.
