Charee Stanley, 40, says she was suspended by Express Jet for refusing to serve alcohol in accordance with her Islamic faith. According to CNN, she filed a discrimination complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Tuesday September 2nd for the revocation of a reasonable religious accommodation.

She wants to do her job without serving alcohol in accordance with her Islamic faith -- just as she was doing before her suspension.

This is a turf one, I wonder why her other colleagues refused to help her knowing her peculiar circumstance, even in Nigeria your job might cause you to deal with alcohol if you are not careful, take for instance a muslimah who work for a business consultancy firm was approached by a man who requires consultancy in opening an alcohol shop, she simply directs such enquirers to a christian colleague, even though such situations come with their ethical questions. May Allah help her through this situation. amin

One of the reasons y I can't ever worjk as a flight attendant. Even on some so called arab airlines, they serve alchohol.
Meanwhile, we should be careful when taking drinks on flight cos a friend once told me of a case where she was served juice in a cup that was previously used to serve another passenger alcohol. Turns out the cup wasn't washed properly and the juice stank of alchohol.
