Nope. It is present in Igbo. I also suspect it's present in some of the other languages for the purpose of creating emphasis

Oso oso = fast/quickly
Gburu gburu = round
Ngwa ngwa = quickly
Ngwo ngwo = load
Oyo oyo = dearie
Nganga = to show off
Nlecha Nlecha = to preen/show off
Ashi ashi = To lie
